Our little Wesley is growing up. It seems to go faster with each child. Having said that I don't think Allie and Luke started getting around like this nearly as early as Wes. He has been doing his inch-worm-crawl since shortly after 4 months. You learn quickly when you are trying to keep up with older siblings (right Morgan?). Believe me- he really gets around.
We are rejoicing for another reason! It has been about a week and a half now that Wesley started sleeping through the night! That means your own bed kid. Which also means that our little threesome officially share a room. Did I ever show you the finished product on the crib bumper? It really ties the whole room together.

Allie is so funny. I love the succession in the photos. We miss little Wesley and we haven't even met him yet. I think Andrew would have a ball with siblings or cousins around. Someday...
(Longer "someday" on the siblings part than on the cousins)
Ilene here--that last comment was Jay. I also like the pics of Allie and the crib. Joy-did you make that bumper yourself? If you did that's awesome! If you didn't nice taste picking it out and it's way cute! We need to kid proof our house. Andrew is getting around too and I never realized how fast babies can army crawl! He's there one minute and around the corner the next. I'm excited for him to meet Wesley.
Funny, indeed. But are those peach colored walls I see in the background? Is it a rule that you have to have peach colored walls and furniture if you live in the Southwest?? I'm serious. I'm seriously wondering.
Love you guys.
Ilene- the bumper was the basic white from IKEA and I sewed on the color strips. That is what tied the room together.
Molly- did I ever tell you that I hate the color peach? And peach with teal....oooh do not get me started on that one. The color in the photo is deceiving (lighting, post-processing etc.). The dinning room has one accent wall that we thought was going to a dusty red. Turned out a little more... um, pink. After the nightmare it was to sand down the wall and everything else that we did with that room, well it just had to stay. But it isn't too bad. You should come see it some time.
Great job on making the bumper! And I really like the idea of taking a whitebumper and sewing on stripes. Ikea is heaven to me. And what a super fun slumber party those three kids are going to be having in that room! You'll hear laughter for hours I'm sure as they grow up.
You hate peach! Your room in Meza was peach. You hate me, I knew it! I'll never paint peach again. In fact, I need to paint the kitchen with something. What do I do, what do I do? MOm
Nice job on the kids' room Joy. The video of Wesley didn't work, I will try again later.
I just love the video story on Allie. What a Dad- you knew just what would make her happy. I used to call it ATTENTION. Sometimes I even needed it as an adult. Whether it is a drink of water when you're in bed, a bowl of ramen, a hug, whatever- it is still ATTENTION. Jason, it's nice that you let Joy get away for some ATTENTION too!!!
Isn't it such a great day when they sleep through the night? Hooray! Good job on the bumper. Sewing is fun, huh?
I'd say the wall in the dining room is more of a soft coral...It looks really good in person.
Wow! I feel like such a slacker of a mom when I see what you've done with the kids room. You made a bed skirt for Luke. Did you make the one for Wesley too?
Dallin agrees with Allie on the Ramen. Starch and sodium are a huge hit with kids!
I can't get the video of Wesley crawling to play. It tells me it is no longer available. But, I think I was there in person when you filmed it?
I don't know why the video hasn't worked for you all... it works every time I try. I don't like using You Tube... I like Google Video better but it wasn't working that day.
