Roar!!!

http://www.dinosaurlive.com/funstuff/

Last week was spring break (and it snowed) but guess what we got to do?! Go see the dinosaurs! It was really really amazing. Other than the fact that I forgot diaper and wipes for Wesley which turned out to be a disaster, but really we had a great time. The boys still play trains every single day and they love cars but they have also really been into dinosaurs. They all have. Allie has been bringing home library books on dinosaurs from school lately so we have been reading a lot about them. The kids loved the show and did not get scared. There was a surprising roar or two that caught us all of guard but that just added to the fun. You really have to check out the link and watch the short video to appreciate what we saw.

Read Carefully!

These are our goofy kids from several Sunday's ago... already for church. I have these pink shoes that I have been saving for Allie. We thought they would look really cute with her dress so we pulled them out. They were still too big but Allie was determined. She stuffed her toes with tissue and when that was not enough she taped them to her feet! You will have to click on the photo below to really appreciate it. So just for that Sunday I let her wear them and then I put them back up.

I know how she feels. I have a few cute things in my closet that are still too big. They don't fit... yet. But it wont' be long and then they will fit just fine. ;o)

Guess WHAT?!

When we woke up Wednesday morning we discovered little tiny footprints going up the wall in the dinning room! They went up the wall and then onto the ceiling and sort of did a circle (danced around maybe?) and then disappeared! The foot prints were small and green and we are pretty sure it was a Leprechaun because when he was upside down on the ceiling a bunch of gold fell out of his pocket! AND it turns out that inside the gold coins was chocolate. Did you have a Leprechaun visit you?

Eight is Great!

Do you know what yesterday was? It was 8 years of being married to my best friend! What a great 8 years! How did we celebrate? We had a mediocre dinner at Souper Salad on what ended up being the $5.99 special (every Tuesday- limited time). That certainly was not our fanciest meal and we certainly have spent a lot more on special occasion dinners before, still we were just happy to be together. Funny how you can spend so much time with someone, live under the same roof, share the same bed and yet still love being with them and talking with them and looking into their eyes (aaawww- little mush for ya). There is just no one I would rather be with.
