First Day of Cub Scouts

Here's the brand new 8 year old and his fancy shirt.  He's wondering why they did exercises instead of camping ...

We did get to go camping after all this past weekend for fathers and sons...  Per our tradition we also got to do a little four wheeling with the boys at the healm.  Wes was a little under the weather and slept in back between his turns...

Going Home

We ate well in Florida.  Grandma Payne took us on a date to her favorite local diner for catfish, frog legs, shrimp and hush puppies.  The boys loved the hush puppies!  Wesley figured out a cool way to eat sweet potato fries:
