Halloween 2012

 Wesley's snack for preschool.
Even Vampires need a good education and a playground to play on.
The costume parade at John Baker Elementary.
Any Stars Wars fans pick up on the irony here?
We had a spooky dinner with our cousins with yummy food like witches and monster fingers, a mummy calzone, and blood and guts soup (tomato soup).  It was really fun.  We got several shots of various kids smiling- but never at the same time.  So we went with the goofy shot here.

"I craaazy!"

Rachel turned TWO!  Here she is on her 2nd birthday and one of her at 8 months for a fun comparison.  Happy Birthday Crazy Girl!

If you have not had the pleasure of hearing Rachel do her "I craaaazy!" routine- you are missing out because it is hilarious!  Rachel is all girl.  She is constantly trying on and wearing different shoes. I thought I had moved (hid) the storage bin of shoes-to-grow-into but she found my new spot and so once again we have little girls shoes of various sizes scatter everywhere.

She also loves to get into mom's make-up.  I know what you are thinking... hide the Vaseline!
Yes, that is mascara on her lips and face.  With a little lipstick thrown in for good measure.

The 2 Year Old's Birthday celebration!

Rachel loves baby dolls and her bear which she pushes around in her stroller.  By the way, that is APD SWAT fixing up her big wheel in the back.  It's all about who you know!

Time for cake!

Funny Kids

Making a pyramid with the neighbor/cousins.  Rachel never did make it to the top because I think they all kept laughing.
Rachel has learned that she can get a lot of attention by making her siblings laugh!  She LOVES it.

Rachel loves Wyatt.  She wants to hold him- a lot.  She has tried to pick him up twice and dropped him.  Luckily she is not too far from the ground so it is more of a fumble than a drop.
She loves to play with Wesley too.  She is always trying to engage him- like squealing matches during dinner and tugging on his ear while he sleeps.

"Like Candy"

Keith and Lori (Jason's cousins) have a pear orchard at their house.  They gave us several bags of pears and some apples.  They were soooo delicious!  We shared a few with some friends and her comment to me was "Those pears are like candy!" as her kids devoured them.  Looking forward to tasting them again this winter!

"WOW!!!  This is so yummy!" - Rachel
