That looks like pen, I hope. Have you been able to get it off? Someday Luke will be very brilliant, because he has experimented with almost everything!
It is ballpoint pen. After some scrubbing it is starting to come out but I think I might try the hairspray trick Jen and see if that works.

And Peggy, that is what I ask myself every time. I could have been changing a diaper or answering the phone. Who knows. I remember seeing the garage door open but all the kids were inside the house at that point. I figured I just didn't close it tight and it had swung open. Maybe that is what happened because I don't think Luke can open the door. I can hardly open that door because of how bad it sticks sometimes.
How about my magic cure all- Magic Eraser? Maybe you should start collecting these pictures and make an album for Luke. You could give it to him as a wedding gift. The title could be "Watch out, you too may have a boy someday." :) (Don't show it to his wife until AFTER they are married though) Hang in there!
flog him, hang him by his toenails and strap him with a wet noodle, a leash maybe, or laser beams, yea, have him in a room with laser beams so if he leaves an alarm sounds that triggers you into Emergency mode! ;) Lol
Forgot to ask, no worries about the drug cartel war while you were all in Mexico?
Oh no! Did it ever come out? Did you ever see all the permanent ink that Dallin used on the leather in the Yukon? The detailer at the car dealership was able to get it off the leather. It only remains on the hard plastic around the mirror.

Hailey wrote her name and phone number on the upholstery of our van, with Permanent Marker! Guess what-hairspray gets it out! She is sooo lucky. Jenny

I would say thre is looking iffy about now....Are you sure this is the same peaceful boy who would play so well while we were there???
