Luke at the rodeo. Wish we had a tripod. We'll get back to our day by day postings of our trip when we catch our breath.
Allie shows how we feel to not be on vacation anymore. This is a photo Krista snapped at the Rodeo following the baby pig chase. I think Allie really thought she would catch one and was talking about it all that day. She was pretty mad at the other kids for "not letting her catch one." Dad took them over to some kids who caught one and tried to get Allie to touch it which seemed to cure her.
When the sun is shining and you have a good sweater on, 41 degrees is really not too bad. But yesterday, leaving Florida's 80 degrees and landing in Albuquerque and being told it was 41 degrees... it was a cold slap in the face. They only lost one of our things, Luke's car seat. Maybe his car seat decided it would rather stay in FL too.

WOW, What a fabulous vacation you had. I love all the pictures. I need a new camera and some skills. Maybe when life slows down a little. It looks like Smiley will stay:):):) and we now have his little brother. Yep a constant 5 kids under the age of 4. I must not know the meaning of patience the Lord just keeps sending me more things that need patience and love. I can love them that is the easy part! I am working on the constant patience part!!
What a fun trip! Hopefully you guys will put up more pictures when you can. Florida sounds so great - don't you just love having family in areas that have great weather? It makes is like a 'real' vacation when the thermometer hits 80. That's awesome.
Kudos to Allie for trying the hog scramble. She's a braver girl than I am. Do they reimburse the lost car seat?
Don't even talk to me about 40 degree weather. It has been SNOWING all week and it is EASTER. We still have five feet of snow on the ground. No joke. I'm still walking through tunnels in march! Augh!
Still can't get enough of the new camera. i know who's taking family photos/lucy photos next time there is a get together.
We lost a piece of luggage as well, The fly pole. Guess the fish weren't done biting out there.
So, have the replaced your car seat, or do you need something to hold you over? You could borrow the one Allie used again for awhile. We haven't really been riding in the truck, which is where we have that. And, in the meantime, if we need to, we could move Isabel's regular seat from the Yukon to the truck. Let me know!
