Now why didn't I think of this before?! When Allie was a baby she would only sleep if you were laying next to her or holding her in your arms. Any time I tried to set her down those first couple of months she would cry. Wesley is no where near as bad but there are the similarities. So today while Allie was watching Arthur and I really needed to take the laundry out of the machine I decided to set the fussy crying baby next to her for just a second. But then it got quiet. No crying. And this is what I found. That's right- new found FREEDOM! 
So after doing a couple more things, the news must of come on because this is how I found them next. 
Allie is not my only little helper.

So sweet! Those pictures really show what a big sister's help is like and what a big brother's help is like. I love it.
The picture of Allie and Wesley sleeping is so darling! Older siblings can be such a huge help. I would set the baby down on the carpet with Erin and Maria while they watched TV in the morning for a while so I could get something done. I bet Wesley will be easier than Luke because you have such a big helper!
it's all about sibling power! I loved helping mom with the babies when I was little--it made me feel important & it was so fun to be a special helper. Looks like you have 2 wonderful helpers!! :)
What sweet pictures! Yea for Allie! Yea for Luke! I noticed I have the same little swing-Hailey likes it more than Mackay though. I'm going to try that position with my kids-great idea! jenny
That is a precious picture of Allie and Wesley...it sort of made me know that all these kids are "parents-in-training" and are storing up the love to give to their own kids....and have wonderful examples in their parents. I LOVE YOU ALL!
Joy, you take the BEST pictures ever! It is so great that you stop for pictures in moments like these. I love the one of Allie and Wesley asleep! And can I just say, I LOVE Luke's sweet personality. He seems to sometimes be in places or doing things that could be a little "naughty", but he is so dang cute and seems so innocent doing things, how could you ever get mad at him? The photo of Wes and Allie asleep together is too precious for words! I just love it. I wish Lucy would cuddle like that with me! Sometimes I go into her crib at night when she's asleep and pick her up just so I can hold her.

these are super cute! i love the one of Allie and Wesley sleeping. I have one of me and Taylor sleeping like that in the Lazy Boy. What a great helper you've got! Luke reminds me of little Jason so much. That mischevious/innocent/playful/happy look...
