I was out running errands with the boys today- shopping. Oh the crowds, trying to move your cart through the place, the shelves looking ransacked, the music blaring, the oodles or "Made in China" products to purchase and the green plastic garlands. And I felt... joy! I feel so much happiness and love and rejoicing! He CAME! He was born!!! For thousands of years people waited and watched and hoped for the sign to come and it finally did! He came! I hear people complain about the holidays and the commercialism and the rush. I understand what they are talking about but I just don't feel that. I feel JOY! I feel celebration and hope and light! My Savior was born and that changes everything! The darkness and gloom and despair cannot permanently stay. I feel like rejoicing inside! I feel so grateful and blessed with family and friends, with life! I feel joyful!
I hope you can feel it too.

I think the more we enter the RUSH of the commercialism, the less we allow ourselves to feel & recognize that JOY! Thanks for the reminder--I FEEL IT! :)
