Is it just me?

I remember growing up and the school years and summers both seemed so long. I realize time seems to go faster when you got older but I think some where along the way I thought for some reason it would slow down again once the kids got into school. I guess because that was how I remembered it. And yet, here we are... back in school. And this is the third week! Wow. How did it all go by so fast???

First day of school pictures (FYI- Luke starts his preschool program in two weeks):

Can you tell how EXCITED she was? To say the least.

What a cute girl! She does look excited. Luke, on the other hand, looks like he is crying because he can't go. Was he really or is it just the picture?

What a doll! Jackson especially liked that she was getting on the BUS. He is SO into buses right now! Looks like Allie is too! :)

Glad you had such a fun summer before school started again!

I was laughing at the photo of Luke because he does look like he is sad to see Allie go or something of that nature. Actually he was just rubbing his eye. Allie always kisses everyone goodbye at the bus stop before she gets on and then reminds us (EVERY time) not to forgot to wave to her as she drives away.

Cute girl! She does look excited. You are right about time going slow when we were in school. I remember being in 6th or 7th grade and thinking I would NEVER get my driver's licence.

Oh, I just want to cry for you. This is such big girl stuff. She is ready I'm sure but is Mom? Why don't you just come back and we will redue your childhood. I wish. MOM

Yeah for Allie! Can't wait to hear how Luke likes his little preschool.

And for the below post - finally a pic of you pregnant!

Also, was Yellowstone crowded from buffalo? That must have been quite the traffic jam. They are the WORST with rubbernecking.

That time thing is still of great interest to me...how it speeds as we grow up. I can't believe my kids are starting to have their 10 year high school reunions!

what is going ON????

that Allie could be ready for the bus...and school...
argh.
but she looks thrilled!
