News from Lake Wobegon...

Boys hanging out on a Sunday morning:
Luke getting some air at a preschool performance (click on it to really see):
Hmm... who do you think the dirty fingernails and lizard belong to?
You guessed right! (She was proud of it and thought it was the biggest one she ever caught- I think this one bit her, or was it the neighbor girl?) Allie runs a catch-and-release operation by the way.

Quite the twins lately:

The big moment:
This is the first day of the rest of your life son:

I am so glad they did not call it Preschool Graduation which is pretty ridiculous to me. 8th Grade graduation is just as bad. High School Graduation is almost not worth mentioning either. So Luke's event was called End of the Year Preschool Performance. The kids did a bunch of cute songs and dances and we LOVED it! Luke was positioned right in the middle of the stage and in between one of the numbers when they were closing the big HUGE curtains Luke pretended he was about to get crushed. The audience all laughed. Our friends later told us that that was their favorite part of the show.

This is such a cute post, Luke is sure growing up fast now. I can't get over how cute the boys are - they remind me of Carter and Jason at that age- Always Together. Maybe that's why I didn't do Preschool, Joy School, playgroups or whatever. They just had so much fun being together and never ran out of fun adventures. Actually, I confess, it was just because I was too tired and probably lazy. True Confessions. MOM

So cute! I love the boys hamming it up in their glasses.

Luke has a future as an actor and/or a high jumper. I wonder what he will do at his college graduation...

Allie could give Bindi Irwin a run for her money. I was thinking how cool it is that she catches lizards, then I remembered all the creepy-crawly stuff Maria and I used to catch. We handled our share of worms in rainstorms. Roly polys didn't stand a chance, either.

Way to go Luke. I remember the feeling, wondering what the rest of my life would be like? Would kindergartners like me? But I really thought High School graduation was tops! Much better than College when I walked up to get my diploma while calculating how MUCH that piece of paper cost!

I would have loved to be there to see Luke's "preschool performance." He is looking so big!

The kids think Allie's lizard is really neat.

We LOVED LOVED LOVED having you come this weekend. Your family is adorable, and I am glad we got cousin time for the kids. Cousins are the best! And I was also so glad to see Rachel while she is still little. Thanks for coming- lets do it again soon. :)

Cute post. I think Allie looks so much like Joy in that picture! Brave girl! It's funny because Beth just sees a bug moving and starts screaming. How does she know to be afraid of them? It's crazy.

ummmm, was it the "neighbor girl" who bit Allie? or the lizard that bit the "neighbor girl"?!
